Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our service

1. Overview

1.1. These Terms govern the use of CVCompose, a web application (SaaS) for creating CVs, available at cvcompose.com.

1.2. The service is currently free of charge and available without an account.

1.3. Service operator (Administrator): Maciej Weber.

2. Service

2.1. You can create CV drafts without logging in; drafts are stored locally in your browser (localStorage).

2.2. We may modify features, introduce maintenance windows and apply updates necessary to operate the service.

2.3. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or any specific outcomes (e.g., employment). We recommend exporting backups of your CV.

3. Acceptable Use

3.1. Do not use the service unlawfully or in a way that infringes personal rights, copyrights or public order.

3.2. Do not include illegal, offensive or misleading content in your CV.

3.3. We recommend not including special‑category data (e.g., health, beliefs) in your CV. You are responsible for the content you create, export or share.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. The software, design and materials of the service are owned by the Administrator or its licensors.

4.2. You are granted a non‑exclusive licence to use the service solely to create CVs.

5. Liability

5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages resulting from maintenance downtime, force majeure, third‑party software errors or loss of data stored in localStorage.

5.2. Our liability is limited to the actual damage directly caused by improper provision of electronic services.

6. Minors

6.1. The service may be used by minors only as permitted by law and, where required, with guardian consent.

7. Complaints

7.1. You can send complaints or questions to privacy@cvcompose.com. We reply without undue delay.

8. Changes

8.1. These Terms are effective upon publication. We will announce material changes in the service.
